ONLINE APPOINTMENT REQUEST: We aim to review all online medical and appointment requests by the end of the next working day.
If your condition is urgent or you need immediate medical advice, please contact NHS 111 or call 999 in a medical emergency.
For other requests, please allow the following timescales:
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS: 48–72 hours. Please request your medication in good time to avoid running out.
FIT/SICK NOTE: You can self-certify for the first 7 calendar days of illness. If you need a fit/sick note after this, please submit your request from the date the fit note is required.
LETTERS/REPORTS: GP letters, Insurance reports, DVLA taxi medical and routine administrative requests: Up to 1 month from the date of request / appropriate payment (where applicable).
If you need more urgent help, call your GP practice. If it's closed, visit NHS 111 online or call 111. In an emergency call 999
